Myth or Reality?

Tamara Braun auditioned for the role of Sarah Webber. Myth!

Actually, the GENERAL HOSPITAL star thought she was auditioning for Sarah when she was really up for the Carly recast all along. "On the [audition material], it said Sarah, so I thought it was a character named Sarah," Braun says. "Before the Screen test, I was talking with my mom's friends because they were huge GH fans. I told them I was auditioning for Sarah, and they thought it was Sarah Webber. Then when I tested and then booked it, I still didn't know it was Carly because they didn't tell me. They waited a week to tell me that the part was. But they did tell me that they wanted me to lighten my hair. So they said, "You must be playing Sarah because she had blond hair.' I watched the show a little bit early on when I started auditioning. I thought it would be really wonderful playing Elizabeth's sister because I think Rebecca Herbst is a really wonderful actress. Then lo and behold, I'm Mrs. Carly Corinthos!"
